At Netflix, our mission is to entertain the world. Together, we are writing the next episode — pushing the boundaries of storytelling, global fandom and making the unimaginable a reality. We are a team obsessed with the excitement of discovering what happens when you merge creativity, intuition and cutting-edge technology.
Messaging is one of the most direct ways we speak to our members: from building excitement around new offerings like podcasts or games, to helping someone recover their account. Our messages span the entire member lifecycle across push, email, SMS, and in-app channels, reaching hundreds of millions of members worldwide. The Messaging PM team is responsible for innovating on these capabilities, working closely with internal customers and stakeholders to leverage messaging effectively in a variety of product use cases.
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the Messaging Enablement Platform (MEP). In this role, you will define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the tools, workflows, and platform capabilities that empower internal teams across Netflix to create, manage, and optimize messages that delight our members.
At its core, MEP is about building the technology backbone that enables a diverse set of internal stakeholders, from content and marketing teams to product and engineering, to leverage Netflix\'s messaging capabilities at scale, with the right guardrails and the right level of self-serve flexibility. You will be the connective tissue between the teams that rely on this platform and the engineering team that builds it.
You will develop a deep understanding of what each internal team needs, synthesize those inputs into a coherent platform strategy, and translate that strategy into a prioritized roadmap that reflects the highest-leverage opportunities across all stakeholders. You will lead a cross-functional team of stunning colleagues across engineering, design, and data science, and collaborate with other enablement teams across Netflix to identify and build on common foundations.
This role is based in our Los Gatos office (preferred) in a hybrid model, but we are open to remote candidates on the West Coast, with some travel to Los Gatos and Los Angeles required.
As a PM at Netflix, you will:
