Job summary

IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company, seeks a Product Manager for its digital marketing platform. You will design a data pipeline to supply marketing teams with data to drive multi-channel initiatives and support strategic business goals and operational needs.

This role requires being based at our San Mateo, CA headquarters and collaborating with marketing teams to enable targeted campaigns and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Understanding of data pipeline architecture and best practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Independent and highly motivated with a proactive approach.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Curiosity and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strategic understanding of IXL’s digital marketing efforts and their impact.
• Collaborate with digital marketing and email marketing teams to improve reach and engagement with current and prospective customers.
• Dig into data to understand availability and organization for targeted marketing.
• Provide detailed written specifications for each data-solution.
• Define approaches to integrations and new functionality with other systems.
• Design data stores and pipelines that optimize marketing performance and enable rapid experimentation.
• Work with engineering to build and deploy robust data pipelines for marketing operations.
