Job summary

Referment is hiring a product manager for a new legal technology team. You will own the infrastructure governing how legal documents and metadata are stored, organised and retrieved, creating foundations for dependable legal workflows and AI-enabled capabilities.

You will partner with attorneys, engineers and product colleagues to turn complex retrieval needs into a coherent roadmap, guiding initiatives from discovery through launch and iteration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5–10 years of product-management experience.
• Experience partnering with software engineers on technically complex products.

Responsibilities

• Define the infrastructure roadmap for document storage and metadata architecture.
• Translate legal and business pain points into clear technical requirements.
• Shape infrastructure for semantic search and deterministic retrieval.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to select retrieval approaches for legal use cases.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives through the full product lifecycle.
