Job summary

KELTEC/AJR Filtration is seeking a Product Manager in Chicago, IL to oversee the product portfolio and drive profitable growth. You will coordinate across Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing to lead product development, pricing, and market expansion initiatives.

The role emphasizes portfolio optimization, data integrity, and collaboration with multiple internal teams to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing or related field; equiv. relevant experience considered.
• 3–5 years in product management, development, technical sales, or related function in industrial/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize new products, line extensions, and portfolio improvements.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Sales to develop, launch, and improve products.
• Develop pricing strategies and evaluate costs, margins, and profitability.
• Review product-line performance and advise SKU expansion or discontinuation.
• Maintain product taxonomy, specifications, and data sheets across systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams to validate technical details and data integrity.
• Serve as product knowledge resource for Sales and Customer Service.
