Job summary

Tailscale is seeking a product leader to own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Identity portfolio, and to shape the operator experience for admins configuring identity providers and auditing events. You will build systematic customer insight across all user segments, guiding cross-functional teams to secure and scale identity solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on product ownership, collaboration with security and engineering, and a strong technical fluency in modern identity standards.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years product management, with identity product ownership.
• Strong technical fluency in OIDC, SAML, SCIM, WebAuthn, OAuth.
• Operational mindset; understand identity product downtime as security event.
