Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Principal Product Manager for IAM to set the vision and drive the roadmap for access to Stripe accounts for principals, humans, agents, and apps.

You will engage founders, admins, and developers to shape experiences from sign-up to API key creation, ensuring least-privilege access and secure, scalable authorization across Stripe's products. The role blends deep security focus with user-centric product design.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in PM, shipping platform or infrastructure products.
• Background in security, identity, auth, or developer platforms.
• A habit of talking to users to find the real problem, not the reported one.
• Technical fluency to go deep with engineers on authorization and authentication design.
• Bias toward experimentation over big-bang launches.
• Comfort setting direction in a space that's still being invented, across teams you don't manage.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and drive the roadmap for access to Stripe accounts (humans, agents, apps).
• Design the experience of granting access across signup, inviting teammates, API keys, and authorizations.
• Define agent-as-a-principal experiences, including authentication, permissions, and approvals with human-in-the-loop checks.
• Drive least privilege across Stripe with roles, defaults, and usage-based recommendations.
• Promote secretless authentication and secure identity protocols.
• Collaborate across Dashboard, API Platform, Security, Payments, and Money Movement to align on the roadmap.
