Job summary

Verisk Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager I to lead an empowered product team focused on solving customer and business problems in the property insurance space.

You will partner with a tech lead and designer to explore user needs, validate ideas with real users, and translate opportunities into measurable outcomes. The role emphasizes problem ownership, with a strong emphasis on delivering valuable iterations and establishing release cadences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience and training.
• 1–3 years in product management, business analysis, UX, or technical roles.
• Ability to define problems, understand users, and deliver working software.
• Solid grasp of agile and dual-track discovery principles.
• Excellent communication skills for storytelling, alignment, and documentation.
• Growth mindset with curiosity and humility.
• Experience with product analytics tools and product/project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery efforts with the trio to deeply understand the problem space.
• Translate validated opportunities into clear user stories, requirements, and success criteria.
• Manage a transparent backlog that reflects current priorities and expected outcomes.
• Ensure continuous delivery of valuable iterations that can be measured and learned from.
• Partner with engineering and QA to deliver high-quality, usable, and performant solutions.
• Establish, communicate, and manage release cadence of product.
• Define and track success metrics for the features and problems your team owns.
• Collaborate with claims operations, marketing, sales, and customer success.
