Job summary
AMETEK, Inc. Phantom High-Speed is seeking a Product Manager with strong software and imaging experience to lead the lifecycle of advanced imaging systems.
You will bridge camera hardware, control software, and application-focused solutions, collaborating onsite with engineering and application teams while shaping products at all development stages. You will voice the customer, translating imaging use cases into clear requirements and prioritized backlogs.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree required.
- Experience in Product Management or Systems Engineering.
- Background in imaging systems (machine vision or high-speed imaging).
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel periodically to customer locations.
- Experience identifying AI use cases and evaluating AI outputs.
Responsibilities
- Own lifecycle of high-speed imaging systems, including hardware and software components.
- Contribute to camera and imaging system roadmaps based on customer needs.
- Create and maintain detailed user stories and workflows for camera operations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align requirements, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support launches with training materials and customer messaging.
