Ladders is seeking a Product Manager for Foundation Engineering to own the strategy and roadmap for foundational capabilities supporting observability, compute, and network infrastructure. You will coordinate with engineering leadership, Security, and Risk to balance reliability, security, capacity, and cost, while enabling self-service access to infrastructure tools.

For our client, we are seeking a Product Manager - Foundation Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will own the product strategy and roadmap for foundational engineering capabilities that support observability, compute, and network infrastructure across multiple platforms. You will work closely with engineering leadership, Information Security, and Risk partners to balance reliability, security, capacity, and cost considerations while driving practical investments that improve how infrastructure teams operate. The position also plays a key role in advancing self-service access to infrastructure tools and translating technical priorities into clear decisions for senior stakeholders. This is a highly cross-functional role focused on enabling scalable, secure, and efficient engineering operations in an enterprise technology environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $158,000 - 248,000 annually

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Technical fluency in observability metrics and compute/networking technologies like Kubernetes and cloud platforms.
• Experience managing product development with multiple engineering stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills to unify engineering and product teams around common objectives.
• Ability to assess and prioritize investments focusing on reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Familiarity with SRE practices and regulated engineering environments.
