Job summary

Quanex in Owatonna, Minnesota, is seeking a Product Manager to own the enterprise finishes strategy across colors, coatings and decorative finishes. You will harmonize naming, specs, and master standards while partnering with engineering, operations, sourcing, quality, sales and marketing.

You will lead commercialization and portfolio governance, drive profitability and customer adoption, and provide training and tools for customers and sales. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, engineering, materials science, chemistry, industrial design or marketing.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in B2B product management, finishes, coatings, hardware, or manufacturing.
• Experience partnering with engineering, operations, quality, sourcing, sales and marketing.
• Working knowledge of finishing technologies is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Owns the finishes strategy and lifecycle across product lines.
• Leads commercialization of new or improved finishes.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent appearance and performance.
