Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to lead requirements for medium to large Exchange Product/Software Development projects. You will coordinate documentation and use cases with Development, QA and Operations to ensure delivery matches stakeholder needs.

Responsibilities include gathering requests from stakeholders, prioritizing requirements, creating artifacts and GUI mockups, and guiding testing, change control and UAT to drive successful releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Computer Science.
• 7+ years’ experience in writing and managing requirements, and translating them into design/ architectural foundation.
• 4+ years’ experience using UI wireframing tools (Balsamiq, Sketch, Origami).
• 4+ years’ experience with iterative development methodologies (RUP/Agile).
• 4+ years’ experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with trading, clearing, finance, banking or related financial services is preferred.
• Experience/ familiarity with APIs, FIX/FIXML protocol is preferred.
• Microsoft Office and Visio/process flow creation experience.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized and self-motivated.
• Ability to collaborate with various teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather internal and external enhancement or new functionality requests from a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Help prioritize requirements with Business, Sales, Operations, and Dev Executives.
• Be the primary facilitator responsible for analyzing, documenting and managing software requirements for Exchange Product projects.
• Create quality requirements artifacts including functional specifications, use cases and flow diagrams.
• Create GUI screen mockups and wireframes to depict desired User Interfaces.
• Document and improve user guides, charting, reporting and product specification management.
• Keep up to date on competitor offerings and technology advances.
• Create test data in multiple test environments to aid requirements analysis.
• Work with Development and QA to review requirements and resolve issues promptly.
• Enforce change control procedures to ensure changes are understood and assessed.
• Assist Project Management with prioritization and tracking of requirements.
• Assist QA with functional testing of requirements.
• Assist stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing of requirements.
• Train Operations and Sales/Technical Account Managers on new features.
• Assist Operations and Production Support QA with troubleshooting and analysis of production issues.
