Job summary

Jetson, a venture building a fully vertically integrated home electrification platform, seeks a product leader to define strategy for flexible load orchestration, DERMS integration, and retail energy offerings.

You will shape markets, products, and the software platform, driving end-to-end delivery from concept through launch while collaborating with Engineering, UX, Sales, and Marketing. Remote-friendly, in-office options available.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for flexible orchestration, DERMS, and retail energy.
• Gather and manage requirements for telemetry ingestion, device orchestration, programs, data modeling, and UX.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Sales, and Marketing to launch new flexibility and Retail Energy offerings.
• Serve as product expert on market trends, competitors, regulations, and customer pain points.
• Drive integration strategies with third-party systems and industry protocols.
• Oversee product from concept to launch, including testing, pricing, GTM, and end-of-life.
• Use data to inform decisions and derive insights for improvements.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a product leader to define Jetson’s strategy for flexible load orchestration and the software software platforms that enable it. This PM will define the strategy and roadmap for what markets we enter, what products we offer to our customers, and the software platform we need to support those business models. In addition, this role will create a vision for a retail energy strategy that will enable Jetson’s future as a home energy provider.

What You Will Do:

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for flexible orchestration, DERMS integration, and retail energy.
• Gather, document, and manage requirements for system telemetry ingestion, device orchestration, customer programs, data modeling, and the customer experience.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Sales, and Marketing to launch cutting edge flexibility and Retail Energy offerings.
• Serve as the product expert, understanding market trends, competitor offerings, regulatory needs, and customer (utility/end-user) pain points.
• Drive integration strategies with third-party systems (HEMS, OEMs) and industry protocols (OpenADR, IEEE 2030.5).
• Oversee the product from concept to launch, including testing, pricing, GTM planning, and end-of-life.
• Use data to inform decisions, track product performance, and derive insights for improvements.

What You Bring:

• Deep understanding of grid operations, energy markets, DER technologies, and regulated and unregulated utilities.
• Strong technical acumen with experience in software platforms, data, and control systems.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to translate complex market needs into actionable product requirements.

Job Type:

Full-time

Pay:

$165,000 - $195,000 per anum
