Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete product lifecycle process from concept to launch with the Product Management team.
• Manage key portfolios within Electrical Tools, including Wire Cutting and Cable Stripping.
• Drive and develop new products while overseeing quality issues and promoting sales programs.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies, gross margins, collateral, and point-of-purchase with monthly forecasts.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and user needs to inform successful launches.
• Support and prepare for customer meetings, presentations, and line reviews.
• Lead cross-functional teams and serve as the contact for manufacturing, purchasing, sales, quality, and engineering.
• Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate product line performance, manage the marketing budget and P&L for the line.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure product success and drive improvement.

The Job:

As a Product Manager, Electrical Tools, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a hybrid employee in Towson, MD.

You’ll get to:

• Manage the complete product lifecycle process, alongside the Product Management team, from concept to launch.

• Drive and develop new products while overseeing and managing quality issues and developing sales and promotion programs.
• Be responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive strategic plan for the profitable management of pricing, gross margins, collateral materials, and point-of-purchase. This also entails a monthly forecast of product lines to include detailed tactics required to meet strategic objectives.
• Maintain an awareness of trends in the relevant industry and related industries and develop a deep understanding of the end user in order to incorporate these insights into successful new product launches.
• Support and prepare for customer meetings, presentations, and line reviews.
• Assist in leading cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives, as well as act as the point of contact for manufacturing, purchasing, sales, quality, and engineering.
• Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate and develop product line total sales and product positioning, including responsibility for managing the annual marketing budget and the profit and loss of the product line.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.
