Job description

Product Manager - Digital Health Solutions

Company Values: Honesty | Respect for People | Own it | Bring Joy

Why Kepler Needs a Product Manager:

Kepler is a US-based company that supports healthtech startups, guiding them from ideation to delivering fully functional apps for end-users. We empower our clients with cutting-edge technology and smart product processes. Our human-centered culture values respect—for our team, clients, and partners—fostering agency, ownership, and a sense of joy in our work.

To build long-term relationships with our clients and earn their trust, we need someone who can communicate effectively with both clients and our development team. This is why we are looking for an experienced Product Manager.

Key Focus Areas for the Product Manager:

  • Guiding clients and the development team towards the identified product outcomes.
  • Defining and refining product requirements.
  • Developing documentation to support the technical solution’s development and implementation.
  • Maintaining clear and continuous communication with clients, from the initial proposal through the project's evolution and beyond.

An ideal person is:

  • experienced in product management
  • systematic and organized
  • business-aware and proactive in contributing to business growth for both clients and Kepler Team
  • good in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and team members
What you will get in this position:
  • Experience with the U.S. B2B healthcare market, which itself is a thing.
  • Working in a motivated, respectful, and collaborative team (emotional awareness, no-blame culture, and all other things to detox from the dark side of extractive business).
  • Your agency and proactivity are welcome.
Core Activities:
  • Collaborate with clients and potential clients to understand their business processes, objectives, and challenges. Translate these insights into the well-documented requirements and guidelines for development.
  • Identify key metrics and success indicators important to the digital solution's success.
  • Analyze gathered requirements to identify user journeys, core functionalities, data flows, and system interactions. Document these findings in clear, concise, and actionable specifications.
  • Evaluate third-party products and vendors for integration into a planned software.
  • Create visual schemas for the proposed integration and create Wireframes of the proposed solution.
  • Work alongside developers and designers to translate requirements into detailed technical specifications, ensuring alignment between client expectations and project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure that the developed software meets the defined requirements. Participate in testing and validation processes.
  • Understand the constructability of design in context with building systems, codes, materials, etc.
  • Communicate with the onshore and offshore teams on the status and challenges related to feedback, tasks, timelines & priorities.
  • At all times, ensure that the developed software stays aligned with the client's objective and envisioned outcomes. Identify risks and proactively seek mitigation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and optimizations. Propose innovative solutions to streamline workflows and enhance project efficiency.
This job might be for you if you have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical/business discipline.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in the English language (both in written and verbal forms).
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager or Business Analyst in software development projects or in IT in general (e.g. worked as a manual QA specialist) and looking into trying yourself in Product Management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and management skills, with experience translating business/product requirements into technological solutions.
  • Experience with Figma, Balsamiq, Just In Mind, or an alternative wireframing tool.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles. Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle and/or infrastructure project delivery.
  • Passion for learning and experimentation.
  • Official permission to work from your location.
There are some other things we are looking for:
  • Experience in software development for the HealthTech domain (the following terms should sound familiar: EHR, Smart on FHIR, Telemedicine, Synthetic Data, etc.) is a plus.
  • Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and associated security standards (such as SOC 2) relevant to the engineering realm is a plus.

Join us in creating impactful software solutions that drive healthcare industry and patient experience transformation.
