Job summary

Baseten is building the platform that lets developers ship AI products with ease. We’re hiring a Product Manager to own dev tooling and AI infrastructure experiences, from CLI/SDKs to consoles and model deployment workflows.

You'll work directly with founders and engineers to define product surfaces, prioritize learnings from customer reality, and ship end-to-end improvements that reduce time-to-production for developers deploying models at scale in production environments.

Qualifications

• Built dev tools as an engineer and shipped SDKs, CLIs, APIs, or platform surfaces.
• Pride in dev tooling and products shipped with tangible proof.
• 5+ years building developer-facing or technical products as PM or product-minded engineer.
• Strong opinions on CLI, API-first and agent-first design; treat coding agent as a first-class user.

Responsibilities

• Reduce time-to-production from first sign-up to running production deployment.
• Make CLI and SDKs the primary path developers use on Baseten and unify authoring surfaces.
• Ensure first-run is effortless with onboarding, model discovery, and deployment progress visibility.
• Own deployment lifecycle: environment promotion, version history, artifact/ model registry, reproducible deployments, and progressive-delivery controls.
• Define how developers compose multi-model apps with Chains and DevEx for multi-modal agents and apps.
• Grow self-serve deployment across FDEs and customers through customer conversations that shape the roadmap.
