Making a job change is a big decision.
Why consider Revionics?

You will be joining a team of remarkable colleagues who are passionate about creating and delivering leading-edge pricing solutions to the global retail market. You will become part of an exciting growth journey where we will do everything possible to help you reach and exceed your career dreams. Our colleagues have access to industry-leading training and development opportunities, and the chance to work in a global, diverse culture with offices in 9 countries. You will become part of an inclusive culture that is grounded in our Company's purpose: to make a difference for every colleague, every client, every day.

Revionics’ leading retail pricing solutions leverage powerful artificial intelligence technologies, including predictive AI, conversational AI, generative AI and agentic AI, to optimize the retail pricing lifecycle and deliver real business value to our clients. Our solutions optimize prices for retail products that generate more than $3T in annual revenue for dozens of the world’s leading grocery, healthy & beauty, DIY and convenience retailers. We hope you’ll be part of taking innovative solutions to market with the worldwide leader in retail pricing.

Product Manager, Data Platform

The Data Platform Product Manager will own the broader vision, roadmap, and delivery of our Data Platform that ingests, transforms, and publishes the data powering our entire lifecycle pricing solution. The focus will be to make trusted, timely, well-governed data readily available to every Revionics product (Base, Markdown, Promo, Analytics) and to our Science/ML and agentic capabilities, and to automate data onboarding and transformation and dramatically reduce implementation cost and time for our customers and for Revionics. You will be responsible for understanding how our product, data science, and engineering teams depend on the platform, and proactively driving forward the strategy and roadmap that unblocks them and helps our customers achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Own the broader vision, roadmap, and delivery for the Revionics Data Platform (“Data Mesh”) including the ingest, transform, and publish backbone that powers our lifecycle pricing solution, and set the direction for where the platform goes next.
  • Own data onboarding innovation. Drive the vision and delivery of agent-powered (code-on-the-fly) data onboarding and transformation to dramatically reduce implementation costs and timelines for our customers and for Revionics.
  • Treat internal teams as your customers. Understand how Base, Markdown, Promo, Analytics, and Science/ML rely on the platform, and prioritize the work that unblocks them and increases the value they can deliver to customers.
  • Partner with an experienced data engineering team, providing clear priorities and technically grounded guidance, and earning credibility through informed decisions and data literacy.
  • Own the agile process for the area. Maintain and prioritize the backlog, convert product vision and strategy into highly detailed requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Own product documentation for the area. Generate requirements, decisions, data contracts, and release notes, keeping it accurate, current, and accessible to stakeholders.
  • Maintain a high bar for data trust. Define and measure data quality, freshness and SLAs, lineage, and per-customer cost and governance, so downstream teams can rely on the platform without second-guessing it.
  • Drive self-serve and scale. Make onboarding new retailer data and new datasets faster and more config-driven, reducing bespoke, one-off work.
  • Support platform modernization. Support and drive the migration from legacy data loads to the Data Mesh architecture, and the data foundations required for NextGen and agentic capabilities.
  • Define and measure key platform health and success metrics (reliability, time-to-onboard, data incidents, and adoption of platform services), and communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Develop a working understanding of the retail price optimization market and how trusted, well-governed data drives customer outcomes.
Experience And Knowledge
  • B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data, or a related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
  • Minimum 2+ years working as a Product Manager (or Associate Product Manager), or a data, analytics, or engineering background with a clear, demonstrated move into product management. Enterprise B2B experience preferred.
  • Strong data literacy and background to guide a senior data engineering team: comfortable with SQL; a solid grasp of data pipelines and orchestration (e.g., Airflow/Composer), cloud data warehouses (BigQuery or equivalent), data modeling, and batch vs. streaming concepts. Demonstrated experience in making informed trade-offs to accomplish business goals and giving grounded direction to technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of data quality, lineage, governance, and cost management.
  • Experience running and working within an agile/Scrum environment: backlog ownership, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and facilitating all ceremonies.
  • Both a strategic thinker who can help shape long-term vision and align stakeholders, and a strong executor who can deliver multiple projects concurrently with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance is a must.
  • A plus: interest or experience applying AI/agents to data workflows (e.g., code generation for data onboarding/transformation); familiarity with the GCP data stack (Composer/Airflow, Dataproc/Spark, BigQuery), Terraform/CI-CD concepts, or the merchandising/retail and pricing domain.

We offer a competitive total rewards package including a base salary determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location. For those in eligible roles, discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded in recognition of individual achievements and contributions. We also offer a range of benefits and programs to meet employee needs, based on eligibility.
