Job summary

SAS in Cary, NC is seeking a Product Manager for Data Acceleration. You will define strategy for high-performance data processing and model execution across hybrid and cloud-native environments, owning SpeedyStore and Data Accelerator.

Collaborate with engineering to craft a scalable roadmap, integrate with Parquet and Iceberg, and enable remote access to AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, Google Cloud Storage. You will translate customer input into requirements and drive cross-functional alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management or software engineering related to data/AI.
• Degree in data science, CS, or related field.
• Experience with modern data platforms and cloud storage services.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategy for interoperability with data platforms, lakehouse tech, cloud storage and open-table formats.
• Define and maintain product roadmaps, OKRs, and communicate roadmap updates to stakeholders.
• Lead PRD creation and prioritization based on customer and market input.
• Drive alignment across Engineering, Design, UX, PM teams to deliver outcomes.
• Define success metrics, conduct post-launch analysis, and develop business cases.
• Shape pricing, positioning, collateral, launch readiness, and external representation.
• Own product lifecycle decisions and identify new tech opportunities.
• Embrace curiosity, passion, authenticity and accountability.
