Yellow Card, a leading crypto infrastructure provider with a global footprint, seeks a Product Manager, Crypto to own the strategy for custody models, digital asset infrastructure, and yield capabilities for 2027 launches.

You will evaluate yield providers, shortlist viable options, and test that returns align with promises to attract more client funds. A crypto-heavy focus with payments context is valuable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, ideally with a crypto, stablecoin, or digital asset company.
• Working knowledge of custody models and the main players in the market.
• Understanding of how yield is generated in crypto and stablecoin markets, with associated risks.
• Experience shipping complex financial or blockchain-based products, including third-party integrations from discovery to production.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience defining outcome-based metrics.

• Own the crypto product roadmap across custody and digital asset infrastructure, applying knowledge of self-custody, hybrid custody, and third-party custody models.
• Define metrics showing the health of the crypto product line, and advise on how to sustain growth.
• Collaborate with engineering, treasury, risk, compliance, finance, and payments teams to define requirements, controls, pricing, and go-to-market for crypto products.

The Product Manager, Crypto, owns the product strategy for Yellow Card's crypto product line, with a focus on custody models, digital asset infrastructure, and the yield capabilities we plan to build in 2027. You will evaluate yield providers in the market, shortlist those that are commercially viable for Yellow Card, decide which to integrate first, and test that realized returns match what was promised, so that our clients have a compelling reason to hold more funds with us. This is a crypto-heavy role: payments knowledge is useful context, but the core of the work is crypto and stablecoin products.

What You’ll Do

• Primary responsibility: Build out the strategy and execution plan for Yellow Card's yield product, including discovery, provider evaluation, integration sequencing, and launch in 2027
• Second responsibility: Evaluate yield providers across returns, counterparty and smart contract risk, liquidity and withdrawal terms, regulatory exposure, and commercial fit, and select one to three to integrate
• Third responsibility: Own the crypto product roadmap across custody and digital asset infrastructure, applying a working understanding of self-custody, hybrid custody, and third-party custody models and the key players in the market
• Fourth responsibility: Define the metrics that show the health of the crypto product line, including yield adoption, realized versus promised returns, and exposure against limits, and advise on how to sustain growth
• Fifth responsibility: Work closely with engineering, treasury, risk, compliance, finance, and the payments product team to define requirements, controls, pricing, and go-to-market for crypto products

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, ideally with a meaningful portion at a crypto, stablecoin, or digital asset company
• Working knowledge of custody models (self-custody, hybrid custody, and institutional custodians) and the main players in the market, with a view on what differentiates them
• Understanding of how yield is generated in crypto and stablecoin markets, and the associated counterparty, smart contract, liquidity, and depeg risks
• Experience shipping complex financial or blockchain-based products, including third-party integrations from discovery to production
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience defining outcome-based metrics and translating data into product decisions
• Ability to work embedded with engineering teams and to explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders

What Would Make You Stand Out

• Experience evaluating and onboarding yield, staking, or DeFi providers
• Familiarity with blockchain networks, wallets, and on-chain transaction monitoring
• Background in payments, cross-border flows, or treasury and liquidity management
• Experience operating in emerging markets or within a licensed, regulated environment

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

• 30 days: Ramped up on Yellow Card's current crypto and stablecoin products, custody setup, clients, and metrics; met key stakeholders across Engineering, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and Sales; identified quick wins and immediate blockers.
• 60 days: Published a clear point of view on the yield landscape and a shortlist of candidate providers, with evaluation criteria covering returns, risk, liquidity, and commercial fit.
• 90 days: Delivered a yield product plan to leadership, including the recommended first provider, an integration and testing approach, success metrics, and a prioritized crypto roadmap the team is executing against.
