Responsibilities:

• Proposing, initiating, and leadingprogramsthat continuously improvethe technical solutions usedthroughoutthe content life cycle (Planning, Review/Approval, Production, Delivery, Operations)
• Partneringclosely with Customer Excellenceteamand BTSaffiliate-focused (Geo)teamstounderstand business strategiesand vision,identifytechnology needsanddefineContentSolutionsroadmap
• Owning initiatives such asContent Review Assistant powered by AI,content deployment improvements, data taxonomy refinement,Vault enhancementsand furthering the use of artificial intelligence (AI)across thecontent life cycle
• Connecting with our international affiliates to understand local needs and drive activation of existing capabilities
• Liaising withcontentoperations teamand continuously drivingcontent operations improvements, coordinatingwith digital channels, data and analytics and data integration teams
• Identifyingcurrent andemergingbusiness needs and evaluatingtechnology solutionsand trendsto balance short-term and long-term objectives
• Understandingandleveragingboth data and technology capabilities already in use across AbbVie and recommendingappropriate applicationwithin content product portfolio
• Managingportfolio ofproducts, securing cross-functional alignment on project scope, benefits, cost, andtimeline,andproviding visibility to business and technology leadership on the status
• Developingcomprehensive estimates and timelines bysolicitinginput and collecting feedback from all impacted stakeholders
• WorkingacrossBTSand business functions to negotiate and secureresourcesacrossa matrixedteam ofProductManagers, Architects,andAnalysts
• Ensuringthat systems are architected in a way that results in technology synergies and simplified integration to help manage multi-vendor relationshipsand integrations
• Adhering tocomplianceexpectations ofapplicable AbbViepolicies and procedures.

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; OR Master's Degreewith 6 years’ experience; OR PhD with 2 yearsofexperience
• Respective years of experience in managing or coachingvendor resources
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build trust, listen, and ask effective questions
• Innovative thinking and the ability toleverageexperience to be successful in an entrepreneurial environment
• Interest in technology trends and application of technology to improve enduser’sexperience.
• Proventrack recordof effective project leadership and positive results
• Ability toindependentlymanage time and priorities
• Negotiation with IT suppliers andvendors
• Strong analysis and analytical skills
• Ability to interact with business leaders in non-IT conversations
• Ability to work in global time zone

Preferred:

• Experience with Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM or other content management solutions
• Understanding/expertisein definition and implementation of digital strategiesfor pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
