FluidJobs in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a Product Manager for Connected ADAS, Safety & Regulations to own the vision and priorities across brands and stakeholders.

You will guide Product Owners, shape the backlog, and ensure the platform supports scalable, flexible delivery in automotive cloud ecosystems while tracking industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in Automotive Engineering or related areas.
  • Experience managing products across cross-functional teams and automotive cloud environments.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools including JIRA and IBM RTC.
  • 2+ years in ADAS domain with Connected ADAS focus.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and own the vision and strategic priorities with input from brands and stakeholders.
  • Guide Product Owners on backlog priority and ensure alignment with the product strategy.
  • Own the customer experience and drive the customer journey across the platform.
  • Develop feature descriptions and roadmaps for product lines.
  • Research industry trends and justify new products using business cases.

Job description

TITLE

Product Manager - Connected ADAS, Safety & Regulations

DUTIES

Establish and own the vision and strategic priorities with input from vehicle brands and other internal stakeholders. Guide Product Owners on priority of backlog grooming, while managing & prioritizing flow of work into the product backlog. Ensure the product backlog reflects the vision and strategy by working closely with Product Owners. Build relationships with key stakeholders and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support of the new delivery software platform. Own the customer experience and customer journey. Manage the feature descriptions and product line roadmaps. Continuously research industry developments, new market trends and understand how our products are performing with current customers. Use business cases to make the case for new products/technology. Consider flexibility and scalability as core attributes of the platform. Work cross functionally with other product areas within the Software Organization and across the enterprise.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related and 7 years of experience in job offered or related. Experience must include: worked in Automotive Engineering; Managing products in cross-functional areas, including Computer Networks, IoT Networks, Cloud Computer and Automotive HW/SW components; Product Management experience within Automotive Cloud environments, IoT/M2M systems and ADAS systems; Utilizing Agile platforms including JIRA, IBM RTC; 2 years of experience in the ADAS domain, with a focus on Connected ADAS technicalities; and 2 years of experience in telecommunication technologies, with a major focus on WAN networks, including cellular and satellite telecommunications.
