Job summary

Sensience in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Product Manager, Global Hermetic Feedthroughs, to own the strategic and commercial success of the global portfolio.

You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and sales to drive revenue growth, lifecycle management, and value creation in HVAC, industrial, aerospace and defense markets.

The role requires a technical background, strong business acumen, and travel to customer sites worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business required.
• MBA preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant industry and product management experience in industrial, HVAC, sensing or tech markets.

Position Summary

The Product Manager, Global Hermetic Feedthroughs, owns the strategic and commercial success of Sensience’s global hermetic electrical feedthrough portfolio.

This role is responsible for managing and scaling glass-to-metal hermetic technologies globally, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, lifecycle management, and customer value creation in mission critical solutions across HVAC, refrigeration, industrial, aerospace and defense industries. Enabling safe and reliable transmission of power and signals in sealed, high-pressure, and harsh environments

Position Responsibilities

• Own and manage the global hermetic feedthrough portfolio

Technical Scope

Position Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business


• 
  
  • In an engineering or science-related field with a passion for business marketing, or
  
  
  • In a business marketing field with clear technical capabilities and financial analytics
  
  


• MBA preferred


• Requires a minimum of five (5) years of relevant industry and product management, product marketing, strategic planning or a closely related role in Industrial, HVAC, sensing, or technology driven markets


• Demonstrated ability to manage products across the full lifecycle from concept through launch, growth, and end-of-life.


• Strong business acumen with experience in pricing, margin analysis, and profitability improvement.


• Ability to translate technical concepts and customer pain points into clear product strategies and commercial outcomes.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, CRM/ERP systems).


• Experience working with customers and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels.


• Overall business savvy, market expertise, and operational understanding


• Excellent communicator and multi-tasker


• Visionary able to motivate others to achieve and win as a team

• Customer facing position – travel required
