Job summary

NextGen Healthcare is seeking a Product Manager, Clinical Content to drive development of ambulatory software for outpatient care environments. You will lead cross-functional product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include defining strategy, prioritizing features based on user needs and market trends, coordinating with teams for timely delivery, and guiding the product lifecycle from ideation to sunset.

Qualifications

The Product Manager, Clinical Content will drive the development and success of our healthcare ambulatory software products. This role will be responsible for managing one or more products and leading initiatives to enhance our solutions for outpatient care environments. This role will lead cross‑functional product and engineering teams to deliver high-impact features and drive strategic initiatives.

• Help define the product strategy and roadmap for assigned healthcare ambulatory software products.
• Define and prioritize product features based on user needs, market trends, client value, anticipated outcomes, and business objectives.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
• Analyze market data and user feedback to drive product improvements and innovations.
• Play a significant role in managing the product lifecycle from ideation to product sunset, including requirements gathering, prioritization, development, launch, and phase outs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and successful product adoption.
• Prepare and present product performance reports and metrics.
• Write business cases and refine product roadmaps and strategies in alignment with company goals and customer needs.
• Mentor junior product managers and contribute to team development and best practices.
• Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, software engineering discipline, or a related field.
• Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Experience Required

• Ability to: Balance multiple priorities and manage complex projects.
