About the Team

This team owns one of the most important customer journeys across the company: helping prospective customers become customers. From selecting the right plan to completing a purchase, every interaction during checkout shapes conversion, customer confidence, and long-term adoption.

The team is focused on building a fast, intuitive, and frictionless purchasing experience that helps customers easily understand pricing, complete their purchase, and get started with the company. Along the way, the team also owns key capabilities that support a modern SaaS purchasing experience, including subscriptions, billing, promotions, payment workflows, and customer self-service.

Working closely with Engineering, Design, Growth, Finance, and Analytics, the team continuously improves the checkout experience through customer research, experimentation, and data‑driven product development.

The Role

We're looking for a Product Manager to help shape the future of the company's Checkout Experience.

In this role, you'll own key parts of the customer purchasing journey, with a primary focus on improving checkout conversion and reducing friction throughout the buying experience. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Growth to build intuitive experiences that help more customers successfully evaluate, purchase, and activate the company.

You’ll use customer research, experimentation, and product analytics to identify opportunities to simplify the purchasing flow, improve conversion, and deliver a best‑in‑class SaaS checkout experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to work on adjacent areas including subscriptions, billing, promotions, payment experiences, and integrations with platforms like Stripe as the product continues to evolve.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving customer problems, shipping polished user experiences, and using data to drive measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Own product initiatives across the company's customer checkout experience, with a focus on increasing conversion and reducing friction throughout the purchasing journey.
  • Build intuitive purchasing experiences that help customers confidently select a plan, complete checkout, and activate their subscription.
  • Partner with Design and Engineering to continuously improve the checkout flow through customer research, usability testing, experimentation, and iterative product development.
  • Analyze conversion funnels, customer behavior, and product metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure business impact.
  • Collaborate with Growth, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to support new purchasing experiences, pricing experiments, and go‑to‑market initiatives.
  • Help evolve adjacent experiences including subscriptions, billing, promotions, payment methods, customer self‑service, and payment recovery where they improve the overall customer experience.
  • Partner with Engineering on integrations with payment platforms such as Stripe and other supporting infrastructure as needed.
  • Define product success metrics and use experimentation to continuously improve customer outcomes.
Who You Are
  • 4+ years of product management experience building B2B customer‑facing SaaS products.
  • You’re obsessed with optimizing the growth funnel and have experience owning user journeys where conversion, onboarding, growth, or customer experience were primary success metrics.
  • Experience with SaaS checkout UX, purchasing flows, subscription products, PLG, growth, onboarding, or monetization is highly preferred.
  • Experience with subscription billing, payment platforms (such as Stripe, Metronome, Paypal, Chargbee), to manage promotions, pricing experimentation, or payment recovery is a plus—but not required.
  • Strong product intuition around UX and customer experience, with a passion for simplifying complex workflows.
  • You’re data‑first and AI‑native. Comfortable using experimentation, funnel analysis, customer research, and analytics to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent cross‑functional partner who enjoys working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM teams.
  • Curious, collaborative, and excited to build products that have measurable customer and business impact.
  • You have a point‑of‑view on the Billing, Payments, and Monetization Landscape and how it supports the Growth lever at a Public Company.
  • High ownership and follow‑through: you reliably drive work from “vague problem” to shipped outcome, turning feedback and ambiguity into clear next steps.
Why this Role Matters

Checkout is one of the highest‑leverage moments in the customer journey. Every improvement to the purchasing experience—whether reducing friction, increasing conversion, or making it easier for customers to activate and manage their subscription—has a direct impact on customer growth and business outcomes.

In this role, you'll help shape how thousands of businesses experience the company from their very first purchase. By building intuitive, data‑driven checkout experiences and continuously optimizing the customer journey through experimentation and customer insights, you'll play a key role in driving acquisition, improving customer satisfaction, and supporting the company's next phase of growth.
