At Sartorius, we are seeking a Product Manager, ATS Services. In this remote‑based role, you will be accountable for the success of their product portfolio from conception to launch to commercialization, driving growth, and maintaining our competitive edge in the market. The PM has the mandate to take data‑driven decisions relevant for their product portfolio from cradle to grave as its strongest expert and advocate.

As the Project Manager, you must ensure ongoing commercial competitiveness and business success of their product portfolio by addressing customer needs through consolidation, integration, prioritization of customer voices & future trends, developing and executing a comprehensive portfolio strategy whilst driving its continuous improvement. This is a strategic customer‑facing role who interacts on eye level with key customers and stakeholders. The Product Manager, ATS Services is accountable for the strategy and commercial success of the ATS Process Development and Plasmid Manufacturing Services portfolio. The role defines the ATS‑wide services strategy, offering architecture and roadmap, translating customer needs and market opportunities into scalable offerings, differentiated value propositions and investment recommendations. Working closely with Services Sales, Product Development, Operational Clusters, Portfolio Analytics and Central Marketing, the role guides the portfolio from concept through launch, growth and optimization. Services Sales retains customer and opportunity ownership.

What you will accomplish together with us:

Translate customer needs, market opportunities, industry trends, competitive dynamics and emerging technologies into scalable service offerings and differentiated value propositions. Develop and maintain the multi‑year business plan for the services portfolio, including growth priorities, portfolio scenarios, business cases, investment recommendations and pricing inputs. Drive data‑based portfolio decisions across the full‑service lifecycle, from the identification of new opportunities through development, launch, growth, optimization and discontinuation. Partner closely with Services Sales to define priority customer segments, applications and strategic opportunities, while Services Sales retains customer and opportunity ownership. Engage directly with key customers and relevant industry stakeholders to validate customer needs, service concepts, value propositions and portfolio priorities. Champion the ATS Services portfolio internally and externally, acting as its strategic advocate and subject‑matter expert. Lead the development of new or expanded service offerings in close collaboration with Product Development and the Operational Clusters, ensuring alignment on technical capability, scalability, capacity, cost and delivery requirements. Lead readiness assessments and recommendations for new or expanded services, integrating customer demand, business‑case viability and operational and commercial readiness. Guide cross‑functional teams from service concept through launch and commercialization, ensuring that offerings address customer needs and achieve defined business objectives. Define value propositions, differentiators, target positioning and pricing principles for the services portfolio and ensure that these are translated into clear commercial messages. Partner with Central Marketing on launches, positioning and market activation, and ensure that services are integrated effectively with the broader ATS portfolio and customer workflows. Provide the Operational Clusters with visibility on expected demand, growth assumptions, capacity implications and relevant deviations from established business trends. Monitor portfolio and service performance, using customer feedback, commercial data and operational insights to identify improvement opportunities and corrective actions. Develop and monitor portfolio performance indicators covering areas such as revenue growth, profitability, pipeline, conversion, utilization, customer demand, delivery performance and launch progress. Align service portfolio priorities and investment recommendations with overall ATS and Sartorius objectives. Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration across Services Sales, Product Development, Operational Clusters, Portfolio Analytics, Central Marketing, Finance and the wider ATS Product Management organization.
