Qualifications

• Solid PC Skills, including Excel, Access, SAS, Word and basic programming for statistical purposes.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including ability to make effective presentations and write articles publishable in trade magazines.
• Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn advanced insurance pricing concepts and insurance terms and structure.
• Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach.
• Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Supports the introduction of new or enhanced personal lines insurance programs.
• Takes leadership role in special projects as assigned by Product Manager.
• Develops long and short-term plans for their assigned product/territory with Product Executives.
• Monitors product performance, analyses results, and makes data-supported recommendations for product enhancements.
• Directs development of pricing and contract changes for product.
• Manages analysis and research in development and alignment with other lines.
• Stays abreast of industry developments.
• Negotiates and sets priorities to align product goals with Product Executives’ goals.
• Facilitates through other parts of the organization to accomplish results.
• Providing requirements to IT for system changes.
• Trains and develops product analysts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
