Role Number: **200600513**

At Apple, we focus deeply on our customers’ experience. Apple Ads brings this same approach to advertising, helping people find exactly what they’re looking for and helping advertisers grow their businesses.

Our technology powers ads and sponsorships across Apple Services, including the App Store, Apple News, and MLS Season Pass. Everything we do is designed for trust, connection, and impact: We respect user privacy, integrate advertising thoughtfully into the experience, and deliver value for advertisers of all sizes—from small app developers to big, global brands. Because when advertising is done right, it benefits everyone.

We're looking for a world-class Product Manager to spearhead our auction strategy and maximize advertiser value, end-user experience, and platform monetization for sustained marketplace growth. If you're passionate about using data-driven insights to shape product strategy and thrive in a high-accountability, fast-paced environment, we want you!

The ideal candidate has expertise in ad optimization, including auction, ranking, pricing, and inventory allocation algorithms. In addition, the ideal candidate excels at defining success metrics, tracking post-launch progress, and crafting long-term improvement strategies. We are seeking an analytical and proactive Product Manager to establish a framework for making effective business tradeoffs and collaborate with engineering teams to develop, test, and launch innovative products and features aligned with these tradeoffs.

**Description**

- Define product success criteria, establish a framework for making business tradeoffs, and develop strategy to drive sustainable improvements to marketplace health by balancing business, advertiser, and user needs.

- Collaborate with business, sales, and product teams to understand business goals and specific customer segments’ needs.

- Define the product vision, breakdown complex problems into creative, short-term and long-term solutions, and take ownership of prioritizing and driving quarterly improvements to key business metrics.

- Formulate clear and measurable hypotheses for how to improve success metrics, work with engineering and data science teams to test hypotheses, and make decisions based on experiment results.

- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams (including Ad Serving, Experimentation, and Privacy) to develop, launch, evaluate, and improve ranking, pricing, and inventory allocation algorithms.

- Produce high-quality 1-pagers, product requirements, and presentations, to convey opportunity areas, experiment results, recommendations, and product strategy to cross-functional teams and leadership on a regular basis.

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ Minimum of 3 years of Product Management experience.

+ Proven experience in defining measurable and interpretable success metrics and rallying cross-functional teams to achieve them.

+ Strong track record of collaborating with engineering and data science teams to develop, launch, and improve products.

+ Customer-centric attitude, with the ability to define and prioritize use cases and customer objectives.

+ Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in analyzing complex, large-scale data sets to form hypotheses, evaluate experiment results, justify product opportunities, and measure success.

+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey results and opportunity areas to cross-functional teams and leadership.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in search or digital advertising technologies.

+ Experience working on auction, ranking, pricing, and/or yield management systems.
