Job description

Vālenz Health® is the destination for employers, brokers, payers, and providers to reduce costs, improve quality, and elevate the healthcare experience. Through advanced technology and clinical expertise, Valenz creates a distinctly different approach to a complex healthcare system. With our solutions, we execute across the entire healthcare journey — from member experience to payment integrity, provider quality, and plan performance. With one of America’s largest cost, quality and utilization datasets, we create greater transparency, flexibility, and cost containment — empowering members and employers with the information they need to make smarter, more cost-effective decisions.

About This Opportunity:

As the Product Manager, Analytics and Reporting, you’ll own the strategy and evolution of Valenz Health’s client-facing reporting and analytics experience across our product portfolio. You’ll shape how clients interact with and gain value from their data, creating reporting experiences that turn complex healthcare information into clear, meaningful, and actionable insights. You’ll work closely with Product, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Client Success, Sales, and other teams to understand client needs, establish priorities, and build scalable reporting capabilities across Valenz products. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, client experience, and analytics that brings the right teams together to determine what we build, why it matters, and how we continue making the experience better.

Things You’ll Do Here
  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for client-facing reporting and analytics across the Valenz Health portfolio.
  • Create a more consistent reporting experience across products through meaningful KPIs, metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations.
  • Partner with Product teams to ensure reporting capabilities evolve alongside product functionality, client needs, and enterprise priorities.
  • Use customer feedback, adoption trends, usability insights, and business priorities to guide product decisions and roadmap planning.
  • Identify opportunities to bring together healthcare data across our solutions to provide clients with more comprehensive and actionable insights.
  • Advance our reporting experience from individual product reporting toward cross-product analytics that provide a more connected view of client and member performance.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics and Engineering teams to translate business and client needs into clear reporting requirements, priorities, and scalable solutions.
  • Explore opportunities to improve self-service analytics and thoughtfully incorporate capabilities such as benchmarking, predictive insights, AI, and advanced analytics into the client experience.
  • Lead cross-functional planning and prioritization of reporting initiatives based on client value, business impact, scalability, and feasibility.
  • Partner with UX, Product, Data, Analytics, and Engineering teams to bring reporting experiences from concept through delivery.
  • Measure adoption, utilization, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes to identify opportunities for continued product improvement.
  • Work closely with Client Success, Sales, and Implementation to understand client needs, support adoption, and balance individual requests with scalable solutions that can serve the broader client base.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert for the client-facing reporting experience and help stakeholders understand reporting capabilities, priorities, and future direction.

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

What You’ll Bring to the Team
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, including experience with analytics, reporting, or other data-driven products.
  • Experience developing and managing product strategies and roadmaps for client-facing technology or SaaS products.
  • Experience with reporting platforms, dashboards, data visualization, and analytics-driven customer experiences.
  • Experience working with healthcare data such as claims, eligibility, provider, clinical, employer, or member data.
  • Strong ability to translate customer and business needs into clear product priorities, requirements, and scalable solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Data, Analytics, Engineering, and client-facing teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance individual customer needs with broader product strategy, scalability, and long‑term business priorities.
A plus if you have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience within the self‑funded or self‑insured employer healthcare market.
  • Understanding of employer‑sponsored health plans, TPAs, brokers and consultants, or healthcare cost drivers.
  • Experience developing analytics or reporting products within healthcare.
Where You’ll Work:
  • Work Environment: You’ll need a quiet workspace that is free from distractions.
  • Technology: Reliable internet connection—if you can use streaming services, you’re good to go!
  • Security: Adherence to company security protocols, including the use of VPNs, secure passwords, and company‑approved devices/software.
  • Location: You must be US based, in a location where you can work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
Why You’ll Love Working Here

We bring that mission to life through our commitment to Collaboration, Performance, Transparency, and Trust—the core values that guide how we work with our members, our customers, and each other.

  • 401K with company match and immediate vesting
