Job summary

TAL is seeking a Product Manager, AI & Emerging Technology, based in Sydney, to shape how we use responsible AI to deliver better customer experiences. You will connect emerging AI capability with meaningful business outcomes within Digital Engineering.

Play a key role in claims transformation, underwriting, legal and customer operations, turning ideas into trusted, measurable capability that makes work simpler and decisions smarter.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience leading digital, data or AI products from concept through to launch and adoption.
• Ability to apply AI, generative AI and machine learning responsibly to solve user and business problems.
• Translate technical capability into clear product opportunities that deliver measurable value.
• Build trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply privacy, security, ethics and regulatory considerations in Australian financial services.
• Use agile, evidence-led ways of working to prioritise, iterate and improve products.

Responsibilities

• Shape TAL’s AI product vision and roadmap to deliver measurable business and customer value.
• Prioritise AI investment across the portfolio to balance innovation, usability, feasibility and risk.
• Drive adoption and value realisation through clear success measures and evidence-based decisions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to turn emerging AI capability into scalable product outcomes.
• Align stakeholders across claims and the enterprise to ensure products meet user and business needs.
• Embed responsible AI governance, privacy, security and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bring 5+ years’ experience leading digital, data or AI products from concept through to launch and adoption.
• Use agile, evidence-led ways of working to prioritise, iterate and improve products over time.
