Job summary

Procore in Austin, TX is seeking an Associate Product Manager 2 to lead the BIM Viewer Platform development, shaping user experiences and platform capabilities across Procore apps. You will balance external customer needs with internal product teams and drive alignment across roadmaps.

You'll work with engineering and design, leverage AI for discovery and delivery, and communicate strategy to technical and business audiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Product Management experience building enterprise SaaS products.
• Experience on platform products, shared services, APIs, or developer platforms is desirable.
• Experience with 3D visualization, BIM, CAD, GIS, rendering technologies, or related domains is preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives with multiple engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong customer discovery skills with experience synthesizing feedback from external customers and internal product teams.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered tools throughout the software development lifecycle to improve product discovery, planning, and execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break down complex platform investments into incremental, customer-focused releases.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to drive predictable execution across multiple dependent teams.
• Passion for solving complex technical problems while delivering intuitive customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the roadmap for Procore's next-generation BIM Viewer Platform.
• Balance the needs of customer-facing experiences with those of internal platform consumers across multiple Procore applications.
• Partner closely with engineering, UX, and dependent product teams to define shared capabilities, APIs, SDKs, and platform investments that maximize reuse and accelerate development.
• Conduct continuous customer discovery with owners, contractors, designers, and internal product teams to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and platform requirements.
• Develop expertise in BIM, 3D visualization, rendering technologies, and modern graphics platforms to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Use qualitative insights, quantitative analysis, and customer feedback to prioritize roadmap investments and communicate product tradeoffs.
• Leverage AI throughout the product development lifecycle, including customer research, requirements definition, documentation, prototyping, and release planning, to improve team velocity while maintaining rigorous product thinking.
• Influence engineering teams, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment across multiple roadmaps and initiatives.
• Clearly communicate strategy, priorities, and execution plans across technical and business audiences.
