Job summary

RTX is seeking a Product Manager to be onsite in Winston-Salem, NC. You will own a product line from development through sustainment, lead small to mid programs, analyze data, manage risks, and drive margin improvements. You will coordinate with various functions, guide new product development, and oversee contracts and vendors to ensure performance.

Travel 15–20% is expected. The role requires a university degree with 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years, and U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years of experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Program management experience leading cross functional teams is required.
• Experience with operations or manufacturing engineering environments is preferred.

We are hiring a Product Manager to work onsite at our Winston Salem, NC facility. You will work independently, maintains accountability for a specific product line from development through sustainment and finally sunsetting, leads small/medium programs and teams, analyzes data, leads risk and opportunity management, recommends resolutions for program problems, manages vendors, maintains progress reports, and champions margin improvement efforts.

What You Will Do

Works autonomously with limited oversight leading projects and programs by developing program plans, schedules and budgets for programs under his/her responsibility. Analyzes data and monitors programs to ensure adherence to contract scope of work, cost, schedule and technical specifications. Leads product management content for business development activity. Develops, maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the product to internal executive leadership and customers. Proactively identifies and addresses risks and develops solutions to problems which require critical thinking, creativity, and innovation. Leads product work with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with the product objectives. Assists in guiding new product development within the assigned product line. Manages the contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance of company programs. Travel 15 – 20%

Qualifications

Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites. Program management experience leading cross functional teams. Previous experience working with operations/manufacturing engineering organizations.

Qualifications We Prefer Experience using Integrated Project Scheduling software.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
