Qualifications

• Must have a university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field, with 12+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 10+ years of experience in product management or software development.
• Technical proficiency in software development processes, technologies, and architectures.
• Strong business acumen including market trends, business models and financial implications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Branding & Impact Statement The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: RTX is seeking a business savvy software product manager to define, prioritize and oversee the development of software products, ensuring they meet market needs and business goals. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between the market, customers, and the development team, guiding the product lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond.

What You Will Do

• Product Strategy and Roadmap: Defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals.
• Prioritize development work: Maintain and be responsible for the clear product requirements, delivery with the Engineering team and metrics for success are built and maintained.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research, competitor analysis, and gathering customer feedback to understand market needs and identify opportunities.
• Product Definition and Prioritization: Translating market requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and prioritizing features based on business value and customer impact.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure seamless product development and launch.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life, including planning, development, testing, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Tracking product performance using key metrics and making data-driven decisions to optimize the product.
• Travel Required: Up to 20%

Qualifications

• You Must Have Typically requires a University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field. or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and minimum 10 years experience 10+ years of experience related to product management and/or software development.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
