Leads upstream product management activities including voice of customer research, market segmentation, unmet need identification, concept evaluation, product requirements definition, and business case development to drive the innovation pipeline. Supports 3-5 year portfolio strategies and product roadmaps aligned to customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and business growth objectives.

Uses knowledge of existing products, new developments and market needs to formulate strategic and creative marketing plans.
Showcase a firm understanding of financial trends and performance in specific brand lines. Ability to own business performance metrics including revenue growth, market share, profitability, pricing strategy, and forecast accuracy for assigned brands and product segments.
Prepares forecasts and identify market shifts and threats.
Uses and understands technical medical language to interact with internal and external customers. Translates technical language and discusses it internally in business terms.
Assess brand viability relative to existing products with new product offerings to enhance overall brand offering. Champions the brand through a comprehensive understanding of customer and end-user needs and product positioning relative to the competition.
Utilize market data, customer insights, competitive intelligence, procedure trends, and financial performance metrics to drive decision making.
Demonstrate ability to build and maintains long-term relationships with high level surgical consultants, key strategic customers and regional sales teams to promote and support the Zimmer brands.
B.A./B.S. required, preferably including formal studies in Business or Engineering
6-8 years of marketing experience required, prior internship/co-op within medical device preferred.
Orthopaedic experience is preferred.
Experience in both Sales and Commercial Marketing is preferred.
