Qualifications

Senior Product Manager at FanDuel. About the role FanDuel is seeking a Senior Product Manager to take charge of a vital segment of the FanDuel Poker product. This position is pivotal in shaping the future of poker within the FanDuel ecosystem. The selected candidate will be responsible for crafting the product strategy, overseeing execution, and ensuring that both customer satisfaction and business objectives are met. This role requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders, balancing immediate deliverables with a long-term vision for the product, all while enhancing the poker experience for players.

What you'll do
  • Take ownership of a significant product area, establishing the strategy, roadmap, objectives, and success metrics that align with the goals of FanDuel Poker.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of player needs, behaviors, and motivations to ensure that customer insights drive product decisions.
  • Convert strategic goals into actionable product initiatives, weighing customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and regulatory considerations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of product development, including discovery, prioritization, delivery, launch, and optimization.
  • Foster alignment among various stakeholders, managing dependencies and influencing decisions across all organizational levels.
  • Utilize both qualitative and quantitative insights to uncover opportunities, assess performance, and guide roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate with Design and Research teams to validate problems and solutions prior to making significant investments.
  • Establish success metrics and accountability frameworks to ensure that initiatives yield measurable results.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, encouraging data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify strategic opportunities to enhance FanDuel Poker's position within the broader ecosystem, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and cross-selling.
  • Develop expertise in poker, gaming, customer experience, and industry trends to guide future investment decisions.
  • Mentor and lead within the Product organization, helping to elevate product management standards and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Present product strategies, business cases, and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to mentor others and contribute to building a robust product culture.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
  • Experience with user experience design principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to gaming and betting industries.
Skills & tools
