Job summary

FanDuel is seeking a Lead Product Designer in the United States to lead large, ambiguous design initiatives across multiple teams. You will connect design decisions to measurable outcomes and partner with Product, Engineering, Insights, and leadership to steer direction and strategy.

You will mentor designers, elevate design quality, and advance inclusive, user-centered practices while shaping product direction with data, research, and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience shaping and designing complex digital experiences in cross-functional environments.
  • Strong portfolio showing craft, product thinking, systems thinking, measurable customer impact and design leadership.
  • Deep expertise in user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, accessibility, prototyping, design systems, and product strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives without formal authority.
  • Experience using qualitative research, quantitative data, and experimentation to shape product strategy and evaluate outcomes.
  • Ability to coach designers, raise design quality, and influence design practice beyond individual projects.
  • Judgment applying AI-assisted workflows and validating outputs across discovery, ideation, research synthesis, prototyping, documentation, and execution.

  • Champion accessible, inclusive, user-centered design practices.
  • Establish and continuously improve AI-assisted design workflows that increase quality, speed, and consistency.
  • Ensure AI work remains grounded in customer insight, system guidance, business context, and responsible human judgment.
  • Coach and mentor designers to raise capability and overall team quality.
