Job description

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Head of Spatial Finance, you will be the bridge between Earth Finance’s financial analysts, earth scientists, technical team, and the organization’s go to market strategy and sales organization. Your mission is to define what we build and why, ensuring that SpatiaFi evolves from a powerful geospatial platform into a market‑defining product that helps global corporations build resilient growth by leveraging spatial finance data and analytics. You will take the bespoke, high‑level science we apply to complex client problems and crystallize it into a world‑leading spatial finance platform that delivers adaptation and resilience at scale.

We are looking for a builder who understands that in the new economy, resilience is the ultimate competitive advantage. Core responsibilities include:

  • Define the long‑term vision for SpatiaFi and continue the platform's journey from a data and model engine into a scalable suite of solutions that solve specific market problems (e.g., Supply Chain Resilience, Asset Vulnerability, Biodiversity Exposure).
  • Work closely with the Advisory team to identify high‑value patterns in client engagements, abstracting bespoke workflows (like analyzing water stress on a manufacturing facility) into repeatable, automated platform features.
  • Translate "macro chaos" into actionable user stories, customer persona development, and validate market needs by engaging with internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring the product supports answers the C‑Suite’s hardest questions.
  • Lead the product lifecycle in a 100% Google Cloud environment, serving as the cross‑functional orchestrator who speaks the language of Data Engineers (BigQuery, Earth Engine) and Financial Analysts, ensuring technical execution aligns with commercial strategy.
  • Work with the executive team and Head of Go to Market to establish pricing structures, models and quarterly/yearly forecasts.
  • Partner with the Marketing Team to equip the sales and advisory teams with the necessary narrative, content and sales materials, demos, and value propositions needed to successfully sell SpatiaFi solutions.
  • Provide strategy and direction on any future web interface and/or advanced demo visualizations.
  • Develop complex multi‑dimensional data visualizations that enable C‑suite or operational users to make million‑dollar business decisions.
Required Skills & Experience

Professional:

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in geospatial and scientific‑led domains, preferably in B2B Data, FinTech, Climate Tech, or Analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering results in an environment where Product and Services intersect (e.g., a tech‑enabled consulting firm, technical solutions, or platform/SaaS with implementation services). Strong technical fluency to understand and guide cloud infrastructure technical backend, and data pipelines with engineering leads, and converse fluently with science and geospatial teams to assist with technical understanding, decisions and paths forward.
  • A genuine passion for sustainability, climate science, or economics, and an understanding of the nuance between "Net Zero" and "Adaptation and Resilience".
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training and/or experience) is required, ideally in a technical, geospatial, or computer science field.
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever‑changing situations and the nature of start‑ups / young businesses.
  • Competent and comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Google Cloud, Salesforce, AI tools, and data visualization tools.
Attributes:
  • Creator: You should see the solution clearly by connecting the dots between the market, customers, use cases, and internal domain expertise across Earth Finance’s GTM team, consulting practice areas, and scientific and technical teams.
  • Strategic Synthesizer: You can look at a complex scientific workflow and see the "Product" hidden inside it.
  • Ruthless Prioritizer: You know how to say "no" to bespoke feature requests that don't scale, while still supporting the Advisory team’s immediate needs.
  • Visual Storyteller: You understand that data is useless if it isn't communicated effectively.
Why you should join us:

Earth Finance is a dedicated team of strategists, investors, policy makers, technology developers, scientists, and subject matter experts who are committed to accelerating the global economic transition to a sustainable future. We believe climate and sustainability progress is realized when market and policy forces align. We partner with companies to reinvent the extractive business models of today, investors to deploy innovation capital at scale, governments to adopt common sense policies and incentives, community leaders to implement inclusive and equitable solutions, and the scientific community to ground our client recommendations in the natural world. We are committed to radically accelerating financially successful climate action.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range for this role is $140,000 - $165,000. Title and salary offered will be commensurate with your experience.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance. We cover 100% of your premiums and 25% of the premiums for your dependents.
  • Company‑funded life and disability insurance.
  • Paid vacation and 12 company holidays.
  • A 401(k) plan – and if you set aside 5% of your paycheck, we’ll provide a 4% match.
  • A super fun, passionate, dedicated team of colleagues committed to creating a sustainable, and financially sound, future for organizations, people, and the planet.
