• Write PRDs, API requirements, user stories, and launch plans for engineering teams.
• Partner on architecture tradeoffs involving REST and GraphQL, observability, and cloud infra.
• Manage delivery from discovery to release, communicating scope and risks.
• Use SQL and analytics to evaluate adoption, latency, and feature performance.
• Lead beta programs and launches with developer docs and migration plans.

About The Role

The Product Manager will own strategy, roadmap, and execution for developer-facing platform products, including APIs, SDKs, authentication, observability, and cloud infrastructure workflows. The role translates customer and engineering needs into clear product requirements, measurable outcomes, and shipped capabilities used by developers and technical teams.

This role matters because platform quality directly affects adoption, reliability, and the pace of every product built on top of it. The Product Manager will work closely with engineering, design, data, security, and go-to-market teams to make technically sound tradeoffs across usability, scalability, performance, and operational cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product strategy and quarterly roadmap for APIs, SDKs, developer tooling, and platform services
• Translate customer interviews, usage data, support trends, and competitive research into prioritized product requirements and measurable success metrics
• Write detailed PRDs, API requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and launch plans for cross-functional engineering teams
• Partner with engineering leads on architecture tradeoffs involving REST and GraphQL APIs, event-driven systems, authentication, observability, and cloud infrastructure
• Manage delivery from discovery through release, removing blockers, coordinating dependencies, and communicating scope, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders
• Use SQL, product analytics, logs, and experimentation frameworks to evaluate adoption, activation, latency, reliability, and feature performance
• Lead beta programs and launches with developer documentation, SDK updates, migration plans, release notes, and post-launch measurement

What We Are Looking For

• 3–8 years of product management experience, including ownership of technical products, developer platforms, APIs, infrastructure, or SaaS products
• Demonstrated experience taking complex products from discovery and roadmap definition through engineering delivery and production launch
• Strong technical fluency with APIs, distributed systems, cloud services, authentication and authorization, observability, and software development workflows
• Ability to write precise PRDs and technical requirements and collaborate effectively with backend, frontend, platform, security, and data engineering teams
• Comfort using SQL and product analytics tools to define metrics, investigate behavior, and make prioritization decisions from quantitative evidence
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to both engineers and business leaders
• Bonus: experience with developer experience products, API versioning, Kubernetes, Terraform, developer documentation systems, or an undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
