Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking an EMIA Product Manager to shape and grow the Data Connectivity portfolio, including T&C and Cable Assemblies, with P&L ownership and lifecycle leadership. You will develop business plans, portfolio strategy, and product marketing, while guiding execution to maximize value generation.

You will lead market analysis, roadmap development, pricing optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Finance to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years in Automotive industry, product/program management, or sales.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of macro-economics.
• Deep financial understanding, including P&L.

Why you should join

The EMIA Product Manager is responsible for shaping, executing, and growing the Data Connectivity portfolio, including T&C and Cable Assemblies, with a key focus on optimizing the portfolio’s market position and financial returns in line with corporate and Automotive business unit strategies. The candidate will lead the development of business plans, portfolio strategy, and product marketing, oversee execution to maximize value generation throughout the product life cycle and own the P&L for the portfolio under their responsibility.

Your main tasks

• Market Analysis: Monitor future market trends and customer requirements across Data Connectivity applications, including T&C and Cable Assemblies. Adapt the strategy to capture opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Developing a clear product strategy and roadmap aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
• Define optimum pricing strategy to improve profitability and ensure market competitiveness.
• Create and periodically update the Portfolio Business Plan for Data Connectivity, including T&C and Cable Assemblies.
• Cross functional collaboration: working closely with functions like Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other teams for successful execution of the strategy.
• Support and drive portfolio transformation toward next-generation Data Connectivity solutions across T&C and Cable Assemblies.
• Prioritize the key projects to ensure timely execution. Be the champion for PAC presentations and budget approvals.
• Resource planning for implementation of the defined strategy. Ensuring accurate CAPEX and OPEX availability.
• Lead conflict resolution: Ensure with the responsible CFT, resolution of customer issues related to delivery, quality etc.
• Develop the marketing materials highlighting our product value proposition and USPs. Train the sales teams with product presentations to promote the portfolio to the customers.
• Map customer releases, define go-to-market strategies, and lead innovation projects across the Data Connectivity portfolio, including T&C and Cable Assemblies.

Your ideal background

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business (4 years). Masters would be a plus.
• 3-5 years of industry experience, especially in Automotive Industry and preferably in Product Management, Project / Program Management, Sales, Engineering.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Good business acumen and understanding of macro-economics.
• Deep financial understanding, like P&L etc.
• Fluent in English, Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset – Self-motivated, Solution Oriented mentality
• Ability to build successful relationships with peers and senior colleagues. Team player.
