Bottomline invites a collaborative Product Manager to join the Business Payments Network, supporting Paymode's evolution in fraud prevention, security and compliance. You will translate priorities into executable work, partner with development teams, and contribute across Product, Engineering, Security/CISO and Network Operations.
You’ll work with senior colleagues to shape roadmaps, drive delivery through the lifecycle, and use data-driven insights to improve product experiences and risk
Are you ready to transform the way businesses pay and get paid? Bottomline is a global leader in business payments and cash management, with over 35 years of experience and moving more than $16 trillion in payments annually. We're looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help drive impactful results for our customers. If you're dedicated to delighting customers and promoting growth and innovation - we want you on our team!
We are looking for a collaborative, hands‑on Product Manager to join our Business Payments Network team, supporting the continued evolution of Paymode across fraud prevention, security and compliance.
This is a delivery‑focused Product Management role for someone who enjoys turning business challenges into clear requirements and working closely with development teams to bring solutions to life. You’ll partner with senior product colleagues who set the broader roadmap and direction, then take ownership of translating those priorities into executable work, managing requirements and supporting delivery through the product development lifecycle.
You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Security/CISO and Network Operations, giving you exposure well beyond a traditional development team. The role has strong visibility across the organisation and suits someone comfortable navigating different stakeholders, communicating clearly and adapting their approach to the audience.
Fraud, risk or compliance experience would be valuable, but you don't need to be a regulatory expert. We're equally interested in Product Managers who bring strong SaaS or technology product experience, curiosity, and the ability to learn the domain. We're particularly interested in people who can challenge established ways of working and identify opportunities to use data, automation and smarter product experiences to solve problems more effectively.
Own Product Delivery: Take product priorities and established roadmap initiatives and translate them into actionable work for development teams, helping drive delivery through the full product development lifecycle.
Define Strong Requirements: Create clear, articulate business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria that communicate the outcome required without unnecessarily prescribing the technical solution.
Partner with Development Teams: Act as a key Product partner to development teams, supporting sprint planning, requirements clarification, status discussions and successful execution of agreed priorities.
Work Across the Business: Build effective partnerships across Product, Engineering, Security/CISO, Network Operations and other stakeholders to ensure solutions balance business, customer, security and compliance needs.
Improve Through Data & Automation: Look for opportunities to use data and automation to improve decision‑making, reduce manual processes and create more effective fraud and compliance capabilities.
Think Beyond the Existing Process: Bring curiosity to established ways of working and help teams explore better approaches while operating within necessary security, legal and regulatory guardrails.
Keep the Customer in the Conversation: Consider how product design and user experience can encourage compliant behaviours without unnecessarily creating friction or blockers for customers.
Communicate with Impact: Represent Product confidently with both technical teams and senior stakeholders and provide clear updates on progress, priorities, dependencies and challenges.
Build Domain Knowledge: Develop your understanding of fraud, security, risk and compliance within B2B payments, working with internal specialists when deeper interpretation or expertise is required.
Evaluate Solutions: Support the assessment of internal capabilities and third‑party solutions based on business need, effectiveness, scalability and fit within the wider product ecosystem.
We welcome talent at all career stages and are dedicated to understanding and supporting additional needs.
We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating an inclusive and open environment for everyone.
