Careerscape is recruiting a Product Manager for a B2B SaaS role focused on workflow software that helps business teams manage requests, route approvals, track work, and report on operational performance. This full-time, hybrid position is based in New York City and suits a product manager who can turn complex business processes into clear, usable software.
You will own a defined product area from customer discovery through launch and ongoing improvement. Working with engineering, design, and customer-facing colleagues, you will identify user problems, prioritize a roadmap, define requirements, and measure whether releases improve adoption, task completion, and customer outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interview business users and review support feedback to understand workflow bottlenecks, unmet needs, and opportunities to reduce manual work.
- Map current and proposed workflows, including requests, approvals, permissions, notifications, and reporting needs.
- Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap that balances customer impact, business value, implementation effort, and technical dependencies.
- Write clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and launch plans for the product area.
- Partner with design and engineering to evaluate solutions, refine scope, resolve delivery questions, and ship usable increments.
- Define success metrics and use product analytics to assess activation, feature adoption, task completion, and retention.
- Coordinate releases with customer-facing teams, document product changes, and gather feedback after launch.
- Communicate progress, decisions, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders and use findings to guide the next iteration.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of product management experience, including ownership of a B2B SaaS product or substantial product area.
- Experience taking software features from discovery and prioritization through delivery, launch, and measurement.
- Ability to conduct user interviews and translate complex business workflows into clear product requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering and design, including the ability to discuss dependencies and make practical scope decisions.
- Comfort using product analytics, funnels, and cohort or retention data to evaluate outcomes; working knowledge of SQL is helpful.
- Clear written communication and the ability to explain priorities and tradeoffs to technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to participate in a hybrid work arrangement in New York City.
BENEFITS
- Hybrid work arrangement combining remote work with in-person collaboration in New York City.
- Ownership of a defined product area, with direct involvement from discovery through launch and iteration.
