Job description

Hey, we’re KonstructIQ. KonstructIQ is a fast‑growing startup on a mission to modernize residential construction. Our goal is to put AI at the heart of residential construction, helping general contractors win more bids and slash manual work. From AI‑powered estimating to frictionless payments, we’re building the next‑gen AI construction + financial platform.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to help shape and build the core of KonstructIQ’s product. This is a hands‑on, high‑ownership role working closely with our team and customers to take ideas from concept to shipped features.

This role is ideal for someone who is technical, curious, and ambitious – someone who likes to build. You will be exposed to real‑world AI problems, complex workflows, and messy data, while learning how to operate in a fast‑moving startup environment.

What you’ll be doing
  • Build AI‑powered workflows that turn construction plans, documents, site photos, and financial data into reliable outputs across estimating, project management, and money movement
  • Work on unstructured data problems, transforming messy, real‑world inputs into structured information that powers downstream workflows
  • Design and run model evaluations, comparing different models, prompts, and approaches across accuracy, variance, consistency, and edge cases
  • Improve trust and reliability in AI systems by analyzing failures and downstream user impact
  • Contribute to agentic, multi‑step product experiences where AI systems use tools and coordinate actions to save customers time
  • Prototype features using modern AI tools (vibe coding) to validate workflows before full builds
  • Own problem definition and break ambiguity into clear hypotheses, experiments, and milestones
  • Partner with engineering, sales, and onboarding to incorporate technical constraints and real customer feedback
  • Drive features end‑to‑end—from discovery through launch and iteration
Skills and Attributes We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or design‑oriented field
  • 1–5 years of experience in product management, engineering, design, or a related role
  • Ability to build rough prototypes or workflows using AI tools (“vibe coding” mindset)
  • Technical and analytical – you can reason about systems, data, and tradeoffs
  • Creative problem solver who enjoys ambiguity
  • High ownership and high agency mindset – you take initiative and follow through
  • Naturally curious and eager to learn
  • Ambitious and motivated to grow quickly in responsibility and scope
Our Values
  • Act like an owner: you don’t wait to be told, you take responsibility, move with urgency, and care deeply about outcomes.
  • Strive for excellence: hold a high bar for quality, accuracy, and polish with a goal to make our users love us.
  • Communicate openly and honestly: ideas over ego, feedback that helps, and listening to understand.
  • Lead with data: measure what matters, make informed choices, and focus on high‑impact work.
  • Succeed in work and life: we push hard but respect boundaries, encourage time off, and celebrate wins together.
  • Background in construction or related field
  • Experience working with unstructured data using LLMs, including documents, images, or free‑form text
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and workflows (LLMs, vision models, embeddings, agents, etc.)
  • Prior startup experience or side projects
Why you’ll love working here
  • Massive impact: your work will shape the core product and be in front of customers fast.
  • AI‑first approach: we’re not bolting AI on; it’s baked into the product from day one.
  • A stake in future success: competitive salary, meaningful equity.

If you want to solve hard problems, work with people who care, and help bring AI into one of the largest, least‑digitized industries in the world, we’d love to talk.
