Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Product Manager to own the vision and lifecycle of power forecasting products. You will drive strategy aligned with customer needs, lead pricing/packaging decisions, and partner with data science to advance AI-powered forecasting solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in product management for digital or SaaS products, strong English communication, and a track record across full product lifecycles. Renewable energy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for power forecasting products.
• Define and execute product strategy aligned with customer needs and market dynamics.
• Drive commercial performance, including pricing, packaging, and positioning.
• Identify and deliver novel power forecasting capabilities leveraging physical and AI modeling.
• Design workflows that automate forecasting, diagnostics, and optimization tasks.
• Translate AI/ML capabilities into scalable product features and user value.
• Partner with data science teams on model development, validation, and performance monitoring.
• Manage product backlogs, releases, and priorities with engineering.
• Define requirements and acceptance criteria; lead validation and iteration.
• Use data and experimentation to improve product performance.
• Conduct customer discovery and workflow analysis.
• Engage with customers to understand operational and trading use cases.
• Support go-to-market activities, including sales enablement and product positioning.
• Collaborate across engineering, data science, UX, and commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy aligned with customer needs and market dynamics
• Drive commercial performance, including pricing, packaging, and positioning
• Identify and deliver novel power forecasting capabilities that leverage the best of physical and AI modeling techniques
• Design and implement agentic workflows that automate forecasting, diagnostics, and optimization tasks
• Translate new AI/ML capabilities into clear, scalable product features and user value
• Partner with data science teams on model development, validation, and performance monitoring from inception to full commercialization
• Manage product backlogs, releases, and priorities in collaboration with engineering teams
• Define requirements and acceptance criteria; lead product validation and iteration
• Use data and experimentation to continuously improve product performance
• Conduct customer discovery and workflow analysis
• Engage directly with customers to understand operational and trading use cases
• Support go-to-market activities, including sales enablement and product positioning
• Collaborate across engineering, data science, UX, and commercial teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, atmospheric science, or a related field
• 5+ years of product management experience in digital, data, or SaaS products
• Experience managing products across the full lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in data-driven environments
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
