Position Overview

We seek an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to join our innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company in the restaurant industry. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product line by taking part in product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

1. Drive the product definition, strategy, and long-term vision. You own the roadmap.
2. Work closely with cross-functional teams of designers, operators, and engineers.
3. Communicate product plans, benefits, and results to key stakeholders including leadership team.
4. Conduct thorough market research and gather customer feedback to identify emerging industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, sales, marketing, and engineering teams, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product plans.
6. Ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards as an execution powerhouse.
7. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their pain points, gathering feedback, and incorporating it into product improvements.
8. Champion a customer-centric approach by advocating for user experience and ensuring the product meets or exceeds client expectations.
9. Monitor and analyze key product metrics, user behavior, and market trends to inform product optimization and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
2. 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager in the SaaS industry, preferably within the restaurant POS and Payments domain.
3. Strong understanding of the restaurant industry and its challenges, including familiarity with various types of dining establishments.
4. Proven track record of delivering innovative and successful software products from concept to launch.
5. Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
6. Experience in gathering and analyzing customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis.
7. Technical background or ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and understand technical constraints.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
9. Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
10. Experience with user-centered design principles and UX/UI best practices.
