Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG in Indiana seeks a Product Manager to develop programs and measures to drive business performance across the product life cycle. Qualifications

  • Business-fluent English; other languages are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Develop programs and measures to drive business performance at all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Monitor product portfolio, initiate and coordinate developments, launches, relaunches.
  • Coordinate external benchmarking and use market intelligence to identify new opportunities.
  • Create and optimize marketing plans and operational measures for strong market positioning.
  • Maintain collaboration with RandD to align with latest trends and customer expectations.
  • Visit customers as required to ensure products meet customer needs.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the programs, plans and measures to drive business performance at all stages of the product life cycle, for products or product line assigned.
  • Monitor product portfolio of managed product lines, initiate and coordinate developments, launches, re-launches, etc..
  • Coordinate external benchmarking and utilize market intelligence data to identify new business opportunities.
  • Create, adapt and continuously optimize marketing plans and operational measures to ensure optimized product positioning in the market.
  • Maintain a strong cooperation with the RandD department to guarantee an exchange about the latest trends and customer expectations.
  • Visit customers (if required) and contribute to respective offerings on a regular base to ensure product lines and products meet customer needs.
Your Qualifications
  • High school or University degree preferredTechnical but not obligatory
  • Full capability in using Microsoft office tools, main focus on Excel and data tools
  • Open minded and willing to learn
  • Data-driven analytical thinking skills
  • High level of communications and presentationskills
  • High ability to cope with pressure, mobility, flexibility, and the willingness for changes
