• Bachelor's degree in related discipline (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in product management, product marketing, applications engineering, or similar technical business role (B2B preferred).
• Knowledge of audio/visual industry, products, market conditions, and emerging technologies.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and software technologies in products.
• Experience from concept through launch and ongoing product management.
• Familiarity with Stage-Gate or similar lifecycle processes.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and evaluate feedback from customers, employees, and distribution partners to identify product needs and support future development plans.
• Research industry trends, competitor products, sales performance, and market pricing to identify opportunities and provide business recommendations.
• Work with engineering teams to define product features, technical specifications, and functional requirements while keeping product documentation current.
• Coordinate product development initiatives by managing project schedules, deliverables, milestones, potential risks, and communication across teams.
• Oversee product pricing strategies, product assortment, SKU management, and portfolio evaluations to support business growth and profitability.
• Evaluate engineering changes to ensure products are ready for market and address quality, performance, and delivery concerns.
• Build and manage relationships with outside manufacturing and supply partners, including OEM, ODM, and private-label providers.
• Support product launches by developing training programs, sales resources, marketing content, and educational materials for employees, distributors, and customers.

Product Manager Position Summary

This individual will work closely with customers, sales, engineering, marketing, and external vendors to identify product opportunities, bring new solutions to market, and ensure products remain competitive and profitable throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, applications engineering, or a similar technical business role, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Knowledge of the audio/visual industry, including products, market conditions, and emerging technologies.
• Background working with products involving mechanical, electrical, and software technologies.
• Experience overseeing product development from initial concept and planning through launch and ongoing product management.
• Understanding of Stage-Gate product development or comparable lifecycle management processes.
• Strong organizational and project coordination abilities, including managing timelines, deliverables, risks, and communication with key stakeholders.
• Ability to assess customer requirements and convert business needs into clear product specifications and development objectives.

Salary: $98,000 - $138,000
