Job summary

STACK is seeking an experienced Product Manager with PLG and AI/Computer Vision focus to own and deliver key areas of the STACK web application. You will collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Success to transform ideas into customer-loving features.

You will drive product strategy, translate it into detailed requirements, and work in an agile team to iterate quickly, aiming to grow market share and improve customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software product management in an agile environment
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product lifecycle
• Understanding of construction processes such as estimating, digital takeoff, bidding, preconstruction, labor and material costing, project management, or field operations
• Deep understanding of at least one specialty trade (concrete, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical)
• Experience developing product and marketing strategies and communicating to executives
• Experience with product usage tracking, prioritization, planning and scheduling tools
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem solving, hands-on attitude

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Product Manager with strong experience in Product-Led Growth (PLG), construction technology, and Computer Vision AI-driven product experience. The Product Manager will own the definition, execution and delivery of critical areas of the STACK web application. He or she will have a strong passion for building and rolling out changes that our customers will love and that positively impact their businesses.

In this role the Product Manager will gain a deep understanding of our customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that will grow market share, improve customer experience and drive application usage and business growth. They will facilitate collaboration between a cross-functional team (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Success) and use data driven insights to evolve our product and strategy.

What You'll Do:

• Own and drive product development and delivery of critical areas of the STACK web application


• Work with leadership to define and align teams around a product strategy


• Identify opportunities to improve takeoff, estimating, bidding, preconstruction, and project workflows


• Partner closely with our AI/Machine Learning, and Computer Vision Engineers


• Translate STACK’s product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes, working closely with engineering to iterate in an agile environment


• Identify and direct investment to the highest ROI activities; must be able to scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact


• Lead a cross-functional team to define, scope, schedule and assess performance of new STACK capabilities and deliver real solutions with quick time to market


• Define the scope of projects, facilitate discussions and drive discussions


• Track initiative milestones and schedules to ensure milestones are met on time and on budget and communicate status


• Work closely with delivery teams to manage risk and ensure delivery is on schedule and high quality and producing the desired outcome


• Lead and contribute to maturing product thinking, processes and tooling within the organization

What You Bring:

• 8+ years of experience owning and managing the development and delivery of high-quality software in an agile environment


• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle


• Understanding of construction processes such as estimating, digital takeoff, bidding, preconstruction, labor and material costing, project management, or field operations


• Deep understanding of at least one specialty trade, strong preference for experience in: Concrete, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical


• Demonstrated experience in developing product and marketing strategies and experience effectively communicating to executive leadership audiences


• Must have experience with product usage tracking, prioritization, planning and scheduling tools


• Must have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams


• Critical thinker with the strong ability to problem solve and must have willingness to be hands‑on, roll up sleeves to get job done


• Must have strong attention to detail


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role is eligible for health insurance (medical, dental & vision), life insurance, 401(k) & paid time off. The expected compensation range for this position is about $150k - $195k USD. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location. #LI-Remote
