Job summary

Kroger is seeking a product management professional to shape the product catalog and guide near-term delivery to a 1–2 year evolution. You will collaborate across the Kroger matrix to align catalog strategies with business unit goals and customer insights, delivering backlog-driven enhancements and a strong product vision.

Responsibilities include defining requirements, measuring catalog metrics, and enabling rapid MVP-focused delivery with stakeholders across technology and business teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience bringing customer-facing technology products to market.
• 3+ years in software development, product management or business analysis within a technology-focused org.
• 3+ years of demonstrated leadership in product management.
• Experience identifying metrics/KPIs and using data to drive decisions.
• English communication skills (written, oral, presentations).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Job description

Identify product requirements and future enhancements through collaborative engagements to support product strategies. Create, maintain and communicate product catalog roadmaps, including near-term delivery and 1-2 year product evolution, to engage stakeholders across the organization in aligning and supporting company and business unit strategies. Create highly collaborative cross-functional partnerships across the Kroger matrix organization. Identify, measure and improve key product catalog metrics to enhance the customer/user experience, and create a compelling, relevant product vision using web metrics, customer/user loyalty/insights, customer/user feedback/research and internal operational metrics. Identify opportunities to create best-in-class capabilities by leveraging customer & user feedback and team knowledge/expertise in order to connect company strengths with available resources. Develop a product plan and deliver breakthrough experiences to market by working with technical and non-technical partners; measure output, improve execution and continuously deliver production expectations. Model Agile principles by maintaining a groomed backlog and providing 1-N prioritization for backlog. Set criteria for Minimum Viable Product to increase the speed/frequency with which enhancements and new capabilities are delivered. Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree or higher (or foreign educational equivalent) Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, Marketing, or any closely related field

In addition to degree, must have all of the following experience:

3+ years of experience bringing customer-facing technology products to market;

3+ years of experience in software development, product management or business analysis within a technology-focused organization which must have included the analysis, development, and delivery of new or enhanced software products, applications, or digital solutions;

3+ years of demonstrated leadership experience in product management;

Any amount of experience identifying metrics/key performance measures and using data to drive decisions that enhance customer/user experiences;

Any amount of experience with written, oral, and presentation / public speaking communication with English proficiency; and

Any amount of experience with Agile methodologies.

Any amount of experience may have been gained concurrently.
