The Product Manager is responsible for contributing to the strategic planning, development, and management of a product or platform. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure the product meets customer needs and aligns with the company’s business objectives. The Product Manager acts as the voice of the customer within the company and is responsible for the product's success throughout its lifecycle.

You may be ideal if you have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered. Preference for experience working at a software company.
  • Strong understanding of product management principles and practices.
  • Pragmatic Foundations certified.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools such as Jira, Aha!, or similar.
  • Must have experience in healthcare and/or payment integrity or other heavily regulated environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in developing and launching products in a competitive market.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and communicating a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals.
  • Assist in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement.
  • Assist in defining the product roadmap, outlining key features, functionalities, and timelines.

Product Development:

  • Ensure that the development process aligns with the product vision.
  • Work with the PO to prioritize features, enhancements, based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as a resource for new product features, enhancements and initiatives.
  • Assist in communicating product plans, progress, and changes to all relevant parties.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to assist in refining the product and its roadmap.
  • Work closely with Go-To-Market colleagues to help define a go-to-market strategy for new product launches, working closely with marketing, sales, and customer support teams.
  • Work with the product team to define the product value and convey to the GTM team.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis:

  • Assist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product.
  • Use data and analytics to help inform product decisions.
  • Conduct post-launch evaluations to identify areas for improvement and inform future product iterations.

Customer Focus:

  • Understand and represent the needs and desires of the target customer base.
  • Ensure that the product delivers value and an exceptional user experience.
  • Gather and assist in analyzing customer feedback, using it to drive product improvements and enhancements.
