Job summary

BNY Mellon is offering a Summer Internship Program in Product Management. Interns gain hands-on exposure to product discovery, client-focused design, development, delivery execution, and continuous improvement.

As part of a collaborative team, you will support analysis, documentation, and work across product, design, business, operations, and technology to bring thoughtful solutions to market.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program preferred in business or technology-related majors.
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status in the country where applying.

Responsibilities

• Research user behavior, client needs, market trends, and competitor activity to inform product priorities and positioning.
• Participate in discovery activities by gathering feedback from users, clients, and stakeholders and identifying unmet needs.
• Support roadmap development by organizing requirements, synthesizing research and stakeholder feedback, and evaluating trade-offs.
• Help evaluate early product concepts and prototypes by gathering feedback and documenting observations.
• Assist in documenting product requirements, user journeys, and other artifacts to align on product direction.
• Track product adoption, usage, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and business teams to move ideas from discovery through delivery and launch.
