Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Product Management Lead to join our Business Technology team. This role drives the firm's digital transformation by defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for innovative digital solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate needs into actionable outcomes, manage the lifecycle from concept through launch, and ensure measurable value aligns with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience managing software products from concept through launch, preferably supporting AEC, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or technology-enabled professional services organizations.
• Experience leading discovery activities, partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize opportunities, and make strategic tradeoff decisions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of product management principles, Agile software development practices, and requirements management.
• Ability to gather, prioritize, and translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements and deliverables.
• Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology, marketing, finance, legal, and operational teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with digital engineering, visualization, GIS, analytics, data, AI-enabled products, or related technologies is preferred.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and highly collaborative with a focus on delivering business value.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital products and solutions.
• Gather, prioritize, and translate business needs into user stories for development teams.
• Monitor product adoption and performance; adjust roadmaps accordingly.
• Partner with stakeholders across units to align workflows and objectives.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and support sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Communicate product value through demos and stakeholder updates.
• Support change management and drive user adoption.
• Coach and mentor team members; coordinate resources for delivery.
