Job summary

CIRCOR is seeking a student intern in Monroe, NC to support testing, documentation, and data management for Capital, AFM, and NPD products. You'll assist in design reviews, product data updates, and BOM control while gaining hands-on engineering exposure and software experience.

Preferred candidates are sophomores to seniors with basic engineering knowledge, proficient in Microsoft Office, and prior manufacturing internships or CAD familiarity.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently following direction, with strong time management skills
• Understanding of basic engineering principles and practices
• Basic design skills and familiarity with SolidWorks or other, similar design software
• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles a plus

Responsibilities

• Testing, assembly, and documentation of Capital, AFM, and NPD products
• Characterize, evaluate, and report on the viability of equipment
• Support equipment design work, to include participating in design reviews
• Support and document product cycle testing for design test to failure
• Update and/or complete product data books
• Create, verify, and update bills of materials and engineering releases
• Create and update equipment datasheets and technical documentation
• Other projects and duties, as assigned
